NONSENSE! The nutrients are no longer in the food. And you cannot OPTIMIZE health without supplements. But food is #1, always. That is because no matter how many supplements you take, you can’t over-run a bad diet. It’s all about creating an anti-inflammatory environment.
Just another hit piece, brought to you by those who either do not know what they are doing, or have sold out to the Pharmaceutical industry--which always pans vitamins and supplements, in favor of synthetic (AKA profitable) chemicals.
For instance, and more specific to the attached article, everyone who knows anything about this topic would tell you the problem with the Vit E is it is d-alpha tocopherol that causes the problem--and that we need the full spread of natural Vitamin E's (alpha, beta, delta, gamma). But that is what was tested. And we don't take folic acid, we take folate.
These are just two (more) examples of how the researchers tested the wrong things…but that does not stop the media from promoting misinformation.
