More Cases Against Fluoride
More cases against Fluoride
TWO great articles on the problems with Fluoride supplementation
Let’s get past the history of how Fluoride became added to our toothpaste and even our drinking water (and, no, there really are no VALID studies which show we should); it’s there thanks to brilliant marketing, used to dump an especially toxic form which is residual from the aluminum, pesticide, nuclear, and other industries. No scientific studies were conducted first—and none exist to this day (when you know how to separate the wheat from the chaff).
A look at the Periodic Table of the Elements tells the story, one which is inescapable for the pro-Fluoride lobby. See the Halogen family; all have the same basic shape and electric charge, so look like each other to the body. At the very top is Fluorine, then below it, Chlorine, then Bromine. At the bottom is the only Halogen we need—and very few get enough—Iodine.
The further north you go on the Periodic Table, the more reactive the species. That means they grab on harder to other elements; in particular, in the body. As they are also then smaller, the effect is compounded (a bit of a play on words for the chemistry geeks out there). The end result is poor Iodine (again, which is deficient in most people) gets pushed out, in favor of the more reactive species in the same family.
Low Iodine is very bad for us. That lowers thyroid function, which can ruin both health and happiness. It also causes increases in certain kinds of cancers, amongst other ill side effects. And Iodine deficiency is the Number One cause of cretinism (mental retardation) in the world today.
PLEASE make sure to get with a health practitioner who knows these things, and also what to do about it.
And—as I always say—if you love your lady, GIVE HER IODINE.
